Atlantic region correctional officers protest management abuses at Springhill Institution
 | | |
| | | | | | When an officer at Atlantic Institution became ill, officers Shanna Collins and Tammy Savoie decided to do their part by organizing a fundraiser, raising money for the officer in need by agreeing to shave their heads for all monies pledged by others. In total over $3000 was raised. Big thanks to Shanna and Tammy for what they've done, you've made correctional officers everywhere proud to say they are your brothers and sisters in uniform. | | |

| | | | | | Atlantic Institution Local executive sponsored officers at the institution who entered a local demolition derby. This doubled as a mobilization tactic as UCCO-SACC members got to talk to the local residents about issues important to UCCO-SACC such as our collective agreement and problems at the regional/local level. The cars were appropriately named "127" and "128". | | |

| | | | | | A lot of officers turned up for a picket line in Springhill in support of a fellow officer and a need for a staff gym. | | |
